MiniShoots uses Square to process all credit card payments. Square charges a separate processing fee of 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction. This is an industry-standard rate that goes directly to Square, not MiniShoots.
These fees apply to all online credit card payments, regardless of which platform you use. Square deposits funds directly into your bank account, typically within 1-2 business days.

MiniShoots offers three pricing plans: Starter (Free + 5.9% commission per booking, $25 minimum), Pro Monthly ($39/month with 0% commission, no minimum), and Pro Annual ($25/month billed annually - $299/year total with 0% commission, no minimum). All plans include full access to core features including smart scheduling, automated payments, waitlist management, rain plan activation, add-ons system, client directory, and analytics.
Square charges 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction for payment processing. This is separate from MiniShoots fees and goes directly to Square. These are industry-standard credit card processing fees that apply to all online card payments. For example, a $200 booking incurs a $6.10 Square processing fee.
The Pro Monthly plan becomes cost-effective after approximately 3 events at average pricing. If you run mini sessions regularly—monthly or more frequently—Pro Monthly or Pro Annual ($25/month) saves you significant money compared to the commission-based Starter plan. For example, running 10 events with $2,000 in bookings saves you $69 with Pro Monthly and $93 with Pro Annual ($25/month billed annually) per event.
Yes! You can upgrade from Starter to Pro Monthly or Pro Annual at any time. You can also cancel your Pro subscription and return to the Starter plan. Pro Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime with no penalties or long-term contracts. We believe in earning your business every month.
